Title: Hi, could someone help me by going forward one save point?
Post by: Tior on 2005-07-25 04:30:40
FF7 will NOT stop crashing no matter what at a certain FMV.
Could someone go to the next save point (file 2!) and host the result?

setting the game compatibility to 95 should fix it.. it does for me. Somewhere along the railroad line is where it happens for me.

Have you tried pulling the movies off the CD to your HDD. And doing the simple registry edit to have the movies played off the HDD? This seems to have resolved a lot of issues for people who have had crashes during or starting an FMV sequence. Look around this forum if you don't know how to apply the movies to the harddrive.
