We should probably mirror the executable somewhere, because this request shows up every once in a while. I think that right now no links to the recompiled garden work, so someone should recompile it again ...

There's a compiled version on my website at http://www.ficedula.co.uk/f2k3/ under "FF8 Programs". Pretty old, but I'm guessing it's not changed at all.

Its got a "libraries" link on garden.

MFC42D.DLL is a *debug* DLL and the program needs to be recompiled in release mode (if the release mode works).  Debug builds are significantly bigger and require DLLs MS says you're not supposed to distribute.
