Well rather annoying then a problem but still. Whenever I start up FF7, the cursor flips out and it seems like im holding down UP constantly. I can select New or continue (by luck) and then go ingame. However ingame is the same result, cloud walks upwards by himself and in menus the cursor scrolls up. Personally I think the reason for this is because i have a saitek usb keyboard. If I plug in my old ps2/s keyboard it works fine, but with my new usb keyboard it just flips out. Anyone know if theres any ps2/s emulatiosn avalible for usb devices or anything else that I can do? Thanks!

hmm... I'm using a USB logitech keyboard. Works fine... I don't think u need an emulator for that. Maybe the UP button is screwed... Better still, get a new one... FF7 is worth getting a new keyboard.

I know I experience that if I have my joystick plugged in....along side my USB Logitech game pad. Probably that USB keyboard, has some kind of X/Y axis coding buried in it, that is flipping out the Joystick/Gamepad Controller settings. Maybe it's a USB thing, I don't know. Maybe a new driver will fix it in the future or something. But I think you're stuck into using you're old keyboard, for that one game.
