FF7 i presume?

You use it *few* times... When you get the 2nd limit (of that level) you have to kill *few* enemies by yourself. After that, the next level is unlocked.

Oh My gosh *imagines what will happen if dramamama discovers the renunion patch*. You have to use your Braver like 8 times I think for it to level up to Cross Slash, and then kill so many enemies with crossslash for it level up to Blade Beam. Follow me?? If not, go to google and type 'ff7 limit break' and see what comes up   . It really isn't that hard.

[Edit]
MAybe you've already learned the limits but you haven't selected them... Go to Menu-->Limit--> select the level limit you want. I beat the game at level 60 and find it physically impossible for you to not have higher than limit 1.

I'd agree with RPG's comment on how hard it must be to be at lvl 60 without gaining other limits.. But I think you can also cheat them into the game using an editor.. I'm pretty sure of this..

But if you want to play wihtout cheating yeah you should just use the limits repeatedly to gain more..

use the first limit break in the level ei: braver 8 times, to earn the second limit in that level.

then kill 80 enemies with that character to earn the first limit break of the next level.

rinse, fold, repeat.

To simplify above:

1-1:Use Limit 8 times
1-2:Kill 80 enemies
2-1:Use Limit 8 times
2-2:Kill 80 enemies
3-1:Use Limit 8 times
3-2:Kill 80 enemies
4-1:Varies with character

It's almost impossible to not go past 1-2 and get to level 60. You would of have to of crushed an entire house of mirrors to pull that one off.

Question.

If you kill 80 enemies before using limit 8 times, you automatically skip one.. but.

Can you go back and kill 8 snemies and get that limit you missed out?

Because I'm at that second reactor (airbuster etc).. and I've completley missed Cross-Slash and gone straight to Blade Beam.. but I like cross slash.! <.<

I do believe you can skip the #-1s by not using the Limit Breaks and getting the #-2s. Im sure by using it eight times, you'll get Cross-Slash, even though you passed it. To my knowledge, it isn't a set path for #-1 and #-2. You could probally get 1-2, 2-2, and 3-2 even before you get 2-1.

But yeah, I don't see why not. Just bust some stuff up with a Limit Break.

yes you can skip the 2nd limit by killing 80 enemies with the first limit of each level. but you need to get ALL limit breaks before you can learn the lvl 4 limits.

Yes, you can go back and learn missed limits. I had to do that for the one after Grenade-Bomb b/c I skipped it.
