Title: Game crashes at start

I just installed FFVII Ultima Edition. When I start FFVII first I get black screen and I hear some music then music stops and it crashes.

What should I do?

Nobody sells the legal one in Finland, they only sell FFXI.

Ok, Ill check it out.

I just reinstalled my legal copy and patched it with teh winXP patch 1.4 from fileplanet.


And it crashes at start.  In fact, it doesn't even start.  Help?

You shouldn't install the 'fake' windows XP 1.4 patch. See http://forums.qhimm.com/viewtopic.php?t=1656 for more info.

Uninstall the patch and search for the official 1.02 patch instead
