Title: FF7- Error during move data process
Post by: Jenova on 2005-10-04 09:28:34
Hey, I recently borrowes a friends FF7 pc version. I saved all the disk info onto my hard drive as the disks were pretty mashed and my friend wanted them back anyway. When I run the installer, after asking me the usual questions when the installation process begun I got the error message "an eroor occured during the move data proccesss-113" Is this because there is some info missing on the installer or something? If so shall I download disk 1 as I already have it so its legal?

It's not that you "have it so it's legal".  You copied your friend's legal version and made it illegal.  I doubt you'll get support from anyone here.

I'll borrow my friend's car when I steal this one. That will make this one legally mine.

There have been multiple debates about the legality of downloading FF7. However if you check the forum rules (clearly marked sticky topic at top of forum) it clearly states that we do not support downloaded copies of the game.

It's more than just that.  It's much harder to troubleshoot a game that was installed in a way it was not meant to be.

Does it work, now?

Look, Qhimm doesn't want his forum turning into *that* kind of forum. Besides...you said yourself that the disk were... mashed? (whatever that means) smashed?  Sounds to me that the disks are messed up to begin with.

Do yourself a favor and just get a PS2 (or emulator) and the PSX version or the game.
