Title: Cosmo Canyon Crash :(
Post by: shinz0- on 2005-10-05 18:43:46
When I go to the observatory in Cosmo Canyon, the movie plays but after the shooting star part, the game freezes. Tifa's eyes are still blinking but I can't control any of my charactars. I tried the solutions on the eidos FAQ but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions? If not, if anyone is kind enough to get past this part for me this is the link,

If the problem is fixed mail it to me at : [email protected]

thnx in advance

Umm...this is new to me... Not your crash but a possible solution?

Anyway...if that is what I think it is...then it won't be long before this type of crash will have a workaround.

1. It's listed as Beta....
2. I don't know how to use it.
3. It's too, new.
4. It looks a bit intimidating.
5. I'll have to see more posts on it, before I start recommending it.

and six..... I knew he wasn't going to try it. I doubt any common user will; until a way is implemented in just running an executable and have it automaticly skip the movie. Common users are just lazy, that way.

In which case you shouldn't really bother helping them no? As you once said: "If you're to lazy to help yourself I'm to lazy to help you".

Yeah...and?

I offer advice mainly, based on self experience. Occasionally, I'll actually help and put myself out. If I'm in a giving mood, and at home. I'm currently, not at home.... and not exactly in a giving mood. Not in a mood where I want to spend time playing a game I don't feel like playing, anyway.

The purpose of my first post was to point him in a direction with a possible solution (and not just him). I'm leading a horse to water....I'm not going to force it to drink. Especially, when I haven't tasted the water, myself.

So....that statement you quoted, still holds true.

Even though, I don't recall every little "dare" comment that I make on the forum. That is what that quote really was, by the way,  a 'Dare'. And I'm going to guess that it was directed towards you, being that there is very little reason to bring it up, otherwise.

(and in case you missed it....six was a dare, as well.)
