Title: Black Screen

Okay, I installed it.

And it said it could not install somthing at the end.

I run it....and a black screen appears..I press enter and I'm taken to the enter screen I press new game and it just stays black.

I'm running on the XP...any help?

PLLEEEEASE HELP

It didn't let me run that file...

Also, I installed 1.02 patch and now it won't even turn on.

Install DirectShow from install cd. You may need to reboot. If it still doesn't work, uninstall some codecs before installing the TrueMotion2.0 (the one required to play those movies).

Error message... cool... what gives you that message?

And what's happening after applying the 1.02 patch? Be more precise than - "it doesn't work".

Uninstall any video/audio codec packages you may have. I use the matroska pack, and need to uninstall it everytime before I want to play the game. Otherwise I get the same results. Black screen, no audio. You CAN still play the game, but the movies will not play propperly. The time it takes for them to play will be exactly how long it will take before you can interact again, since movies (except the eidos logo) are not skip able. So wait long enough after selecting New Game, and you'll get to play. :)
