Title: Ultima Weapon glitch
Post by: Coheed on 2005-11-06 20:08:38: I looked around and didn't find anything, but has anyone had any problems with Ultima Weapon on the world map?

It seems that randomly after I fight Ultima Weapon it will disappear completely, even after searching the entire map for fifteen minutes he is no where to be found.

Just wondering if anyone else was having this problem and if there might be a fix for it. (I've been restarting the game after every battle to get it to reappear, except once where he stayed on the map.)

By the way: I'm using the Hi-Res patch with FF7Music and the MGP.

Post by: EmperorSteele on 2005-11-07 03:22:56: Ulty likes to fly around, though he'll usually beeline to different locations. You ahve to ram him w/ the highwind to get him to go to a new location quicker. Just try patrolling north cave, wutai, cosmo canyon, mideel and midgar, you should find him eventually. (he ends up at otherplaces, but those seem to be his favorite)

Post by: James Pond on 2005-11-08 07:59:02: He despawns (from what I found) untill you get to a certain point in the game, he then spawns again.

Post by: Coheed on 2005-11-09 00:20:11: Well, I just kept restarting and I eventually beat him, though in the strategy guide I have, you aren't supposed to beat him until Disc 3. Oh well.
