i've found the 1.02 patch and applied it. i also used rivatuner's 2x2 antialiasing. i've also selected the direct3d hardware acceleration. hoever, the characters are black with only their eyes had colours. why is this?

Sounds like the color on the characters isn't being recognized.

Post your system specs, and try the game without any AA on.

uhhhh... i meant no offense. just needed help...

my pc specs:
2GHz P4, 640 MB RAM, Geforce FX 5200 128RAM, Win XP

Hmm..

Okay, then, do me a favor.  Right-click on your desktop and hit "properties".  then click the "settings" tab.  From there, hit the "Advanced" button.  Another window will pop up; hit the "GEforce fx 5200" tab (Or it will be labled as something like that)

From there, look on the bottom where it says "graphics card information" and find "ForceWare version" (Should be the last or second-last item).  Thats the number I want from you =)  This is important, becasue i'm not sure which drivers are best for your card, but something tells me they just need to be updated... or, perhaps you're using a far too new version and its not compatable with your graphics card.

nah, thats the bios version.  Look for a number that's like a 4 digit number like this: xx.yy

Might be quicker to just point to the nVidia drivers section.  :)

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_81.95.html  (this link is to the Windows XP drivers section, so if you have a previous Windows, you'll need different drivers).

Just click on primary download site and agree to the EULA, and install.  Hopefully that'll fix the game.  :)
