Title: Frustrating FF7 Crash

Well, seeing how I'm Playstation-less at the moment, I figured I'd borrow my friend's copy of FF7 for PC.  It's a retail version of the game, with the XP and Chocobo patches installed--nothing else.  Everything is going fine, however I'm now at Rufus' parade at Junon, and when I run out of that little room where you get changed and try to go on the main boulevard, the game hangs and goes to a black screen which no amount of CTRL-ALT-DEL or ALT-F4 can help.  Any suggestions?  I'm running the game in software mode at 640x480 fullscreen.

that's where a movie plays, Junon.avi.  Its one of those trouble-movies.  Here, try this:

Make sure that all the movies run after being transfered to your HD =)

Unfortunately, that did not do the trick.  Would anyone be willing to take my save game, run out, view the movie, then pop back in and save again?
