Title: Cosmo Canyon crash

I've tried different patches and such but whenever I get up to the part where you're inside Bugenhagen's machine, right after the shooting start scene the game freezes. I think it might have to do with the chocobo patch...but I really have no way of knowing. Please help @_@ I'm out of ideas.
