Title: Plz Help. Does 1.02/Chocobo Patch Change Gameplay/Story?

Ppl are prolly gunna laugh at me for asking this, but anywhere in the 1.02 or chocobo patches does it alter the story or the gameplay at all? What I mean to say is installing the patches going to change any of the original story or game at all? Like anything at all, missing scenes/texts, difficuly in minigames, mosnter stats and encounters, etc.....Just curious weather or not I should just live with the jaggy textures of the 1.00 patch, because I don't wanna play with the story or game changed at all, does any1 know? Any help would be appreciated, , main question is, besides bypassing the 8 bit palletted textures, does the patch do anything else in terms of the game itself?

Are you completely sure? Because im noticing a few odd things that i haven't noticed before, for example when you fight rufus every time i do anything to him, like 3/4 of the time hed tilt his head back and say "HEH HEH HEH", maybe just my immagination, and also as you leave midgar every one has a dialogue except Red XIII, and i think i may remember him saying something along the lines of "What a Touching Story", but again probably just my hate for games being ruined by patches talking, so theres no even minor insignificant changes to the game?

Actually, I believe the 1.02 patch removes the "wind" from one part of the game because it was problematic on fast computers?  Anyway, as far as the game script, yes I'm sure.  The only files that change are the main executable and FF7config executable...  The game script information is not even in either of those files.

Depends on your lvl how strong he is :o

He says that after Cloud's flashback/story is shown/said in Kalm?
