Title: Ifalna v1.40 Bug
Post by: Alhexx on 2006-02-17 14:17:49: I have found an ugly bug in ficedula's Ifalna tool.
After loading the Battle.lgp (german) into Ifalna, my screen looked like this. (http://bin.mypage.sk/FILES/iflana_error.jpg)

Does anyone else encountered this problem?

As for my OS:
Windows XP Pro SP 2

I've had this problem before, and its definatly not to do with just ficedula's Ifalna tool because ive never used it before.

It could be to do with the way the app is handling resource's. Might not be cleaning up something it should.

Post by: Alhexx on 2006-02-18 21:28:59: Okay, I still have no idea why this happens, however, I have found a solution for this problem...

After working with Ifalna and having your icons messed up, simply start Ultima 0.40 PA #2 (http://www.alhexx.com/releases/games/ff7/ultima040pa2.zip), load a FF7 model and close Ultima again. After that hit the F5 key and everything will be okay :o

Post by: ESPerion on 2006-02-23 00:00:17: that's a window behavioural issue, inheritted since windows 95. happens when ur app didn't even have a chance to free up resource it uses after termination.
