Alright, im in cosmos crater. Bugenden goes over his little Planet Life speach.  After he says, "That is the study of planet life." or something like that. I can't do nothing but run around. The platform dosn't go down or anything, and i can't talk to anyone.

It might be that your fmv for the podium going down is corrupted try a reinstall.
PS post more info so I have more to work with.

huh.....i remember in the PS version i have to talk to some one before it goes down...do i still have to do that for the PC version?

As long as it's a PC version, gypt (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=4505.0) will probably help. It just skips more than it should :P
