Title: Patch Traduction of FFVII (in french)

Hello all,

I'm looking for a patch to translante the english menu in french.
All the dialogs are already translate, thanks to the old forum Qhimm. I made a post on a forum where you can download the patch for the dialogs : http://www.morphdown.net/~forum/index.php?showtopic=178
these are the files that translate ONLY the dialogs :

But i can't translate the menu in french. the file named "menu_us.lgp" can't translate the menu. Maybe the menu is in the .exe but i don't know.

Can you find a mean to make a complete patch please? thanks (and sorry for my english  :-P )

It is in the exe, but isn't there already a French ff7.exe (or even a French FF7)?

That is correct.

The text for the menus and everything is in ff7.exe.  And, there is a French version of the game available.

But he must play the english version to have a high-res (highres patch only works with english original 10.2 ff7.exe)

exact, i forgot to mention this, i have a version of ffVII in french but, as Christian said, the HighRez patch can't work with the french version, only with the English version.

It's already been said that the information to translate the menu is inside of the .exe, but personally, I don't know where to look.

that would be well to work on the exe of FF7, finally I want to say analyzed and to see how to proceed to the patching of the language of the play of the menu towards the language wished. in more as many people seek to find the means of the patcher towards the language wished, whereas the language of the menu of the play is in the exe, that would be sympathetic to take the trouble to seek to see how to proceed to the patching of the play towards the language wished bus much of nobody can benefitted from the patch high resolution towards their language wished since the patch high resolution functions that with the US original exe.
