Title: KOTOR II (PC)
Post by: Threesixty on 2006-05-19 17:49:48
I was just wondering if anyone else knew there was a project going on on this....
Been keeping an eye on it for a while... Seems like forever, really. They still aren't done with it.
Looks like huge improvements...if they ever finish it.

Yeah. :-)

Even the separate gameplay fixes are a great help and together with the high resolution cut-scenes and high quality music (and was there something else high... high something? I don't remember) released by nVidia(!) they make the game quite enjoyable. The ending is still rushed to the extreme, but now you can actually play it without going bonkers. :)

Or how would I know, I have never played unpatched, untweaked KOTOR II. :P

Of course nVidia didn't make the cut-scenes, nor the music, they just seem to be offering the downloads. Which are large. Very large.

Thanks Threesixty, I never knew these things were going on because right after I finished it I was so pissed off at the lame rushed ending, I just uninstalled it and packed the CD's away.

Found out about it at IGN's forum....
Been watching it for about 8 months, I guess.

I like what they say in their FAQ.... about being shut down.
Guess we'll see.
