Title: Bestbuy.com selling preorders for PS3 FFVII

 It seems that here (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7858605&type=product&id=1142300188021) BestBuy.com is selling preorders for a PS3 version of FFVII. It's priced at $59.99, with a release date of Dec. 1, 2006. I don't take this as actual confirmation, but it sure is interesting.

DAMN SE!!!  Why can't they release for a better, cheaper next gen system.  Or at least one that looks like it's going to be better.

That's fuckin' cool though.

A PS3 emulator?

Do you realize that it will be quite a number of years before that happens?

PlayStation 2 emulation is barely happening now. You can't even play PS2 commercial games yet. I shudder to think about the legnth of time before the day when a good PS3 emulator will come out..

Keep in mind that this is only Best Buy claiming it will happen. Chances are pretty good that they didn't bother to verify it, and will not actually be able to follow through.

you know some places offered pre-orders for duke nukem forever... teeheehee

WHEN i know an FFVII Remake is on a shelf somewhere near me, i'll walk in there and buy it, if i don't have the system it runs on, i'll buy that too :)

haha good point, but i realy dont want to buy a ps3 just for one game though, i guessits best not to put much thort into it since its just a rupor and if it is true it could be on the PC anyways too

Mabye Square saw that and told them to take it off..

I still wish it would be done though, Its their Biggest FF hit, and they won't do this?

They made a Movie and 2-3 new games, but NOT a remake.

I think they are in the works, but are just keeping it secret until 80%.
