Title: Modding the ff7 [need help]

OK, so I've got my FF7 back and I'd like to make my own model. I've downloaded the LGP Tools, Kimera, Biturn, Leviathan [because  it's nice ^^ ] and tutorial about modding. And I have problems.. I don't know which files I have to extract with LGP Tools.. I dont' know how to get parts from other models and stick it with the desire one.. I'd like to make a field and battle model, but also the portrait and weapon if possible.
So, I'd like to ask you if you could help me.. Maybe you can write easier tutorial? Or give me any advice you can? I really would like to make my own model..

We're not at the point yet where we can import custom models.  Reunion is close, but until he finsihes his custom import tool, you have to use model parts that are already in the game.

Also, you would have to replace an existing character.  I think someone around here has a list that tells you what's what in char.lgp (like RAxx is tifa or something), but i dunno where it is.

Well, for start I'm fine with switching parts from models from the game.. [like a chimera from few characters] But I don't know how.. The tutorial is little dificult for me, it has difrent Kimera ver than I. I'd like to know how can I take for ex. Rufus hand an put it to Cloud model etc.. how to make field and battle model..  And how to replace characters. Well I know nothing except that I have a programs, ff7, and will to do it.

ingame battle animations (Cloud slashing his sword, Barret shooting his gun, Tifa punching, Spell casting animations, limit breaks, etc..) are a no-no for now, aren't they...?

Battle animations and battle weapon models are really the only two things I want to edit...  :-(

Will Reunion's importer support these two?

What reunion seems to have done is take a model from another game, and he replaced Cloud with it.  So it's just custom models, using the same bones and animations.  The thread is here:

Weapons you'll be able to do, because they don't have animations or anything.  They just sit in a character's hand.

Oh, yeah I've seen that topic.. Well i guess [even if the program will become useless] I'd like to work with Kimera to have fun with switching the models..and so and so like i wrote in my previous posts.. Well but my question is: Can some1 help me and maybe make a tutorial about modding and switching characters [and all thing I wrote about earlier].. I know this is very much efort but I would be thankfull and many members too I think..

Oh, btw.. maybe you have fiield > battle patch but SD ?
