Probably a strange questions but is it possible to use final fantasy 8 for pc with an emulated pocketstation (if one exists)? Or can I use the psx ff8 on epsxe and then somehow emulate the pocketstation to get all the goodies? Thanks :-)

The PC version of FF8 comes with a PC version of Chocobo World (the pocket station game).

I imported one. It was worth it :) ~20 dollars

First the was a pocket station emulator. I think it's still around somewhere.
Second, none of the PS1 emulators supported the pocketstation system.
Real shame since it's just an ARM thumb (ARM7T) processor with an SPI port and a 128K flash rom to store the pocket station games in.
The resolution was 32x32 pixels (wow?) and the uC was made by ATMEL.
As for an emuator... hmmm I was considering doing such a beast at one time. The problem is how the playstation recognizes the pocket station being pluged in.

Someone should port a copy of Before Crisis and DoC:LE to the PC as well. Ah, but you're most likely to run into legal problems.
