Hi everyone. I've got a bit of a problem with Final Fantasy VII.
First of all, I'm running it on Windows XP, with all the stuff you guys recommend installed (1.02 Patch, upside-down video thingy and the Chocobo Race fix).
My problem is as follows: When in Bone Village, I have to dig up the Lunar Harp in the archeology-minigame. The thing is, the harp is buried up the ladder. Which, for some bizarre reason, I can't seem to climb while in the archeology-mode (both while laying workers, before deploying the bomb and AFTER deploying the bomb). I've tried EVERYTHING. Seriously. NOTHING works.
I thought "Oh well. It's only a minor item. I'll just use the Jenova editor!"
*bzzzt* Wrong. I edited the Lunar Harp into my key items. All seemed well, as the harp showed up in my inventory just fine. However, the animation-sequence in the forest won't trigger, no matter how many times I walk back and forth through the second screen.
I'm guessing that finding the harp switches some sort of trigger in the game, but I have no idea on how to fix this. Help would be very much appreciated
Of course, it could also be that I just overlooked something and the problem lies with ME instead of the game.
Thanks for your help!

The Earth Harp is NOT on the ladder. It is down and slightly to the left of the tent near the top.
Place a couple of "archeologist" around that area and look for (?) normal treasure (?). Set off the bomb, and you should get a scene of the person digging in the night. When you wake up, it will be in the treasure box next to the main hut/store.

Yes, I know this. It was in the Walkthrough I checked. The tent, however, can only be reached by climbing the ladder, which I cannot do.

Keep moving around the area right next to the ladder and hit [OK]. Eventually, you'll grip onto the ladder and be able to climb up.

Note that this is a known issue. It's very hard to find the spot you need to be in to grab onto the ladder... There is probably nothing wrong with your game.
