Title: Guess what......(hint, canyon)
Post by: Herpderp Mcderp on 2006-08-20 04:37:37
For those of you that guessed it, I've been cursed to have the dreaded Cosmo Canyon bug, yeah sux4me. I'm running a geforcee 6800, 1.8 ghz AMD processor, 1024 mb ram, running a retail version iof the game, 1.02 with SAINT and chocobo fix under winxp.

my save is at http://rapidshare.de/files/30057789/save00.ff7

you will notice some save oddities......such as Cloud's omnislash and ultima weapon, Aeris' name untranslated as Aerith. Red was given the name Nanaki just to laugh at the "Nanaki's real name is Nanaki"(I did the exact same thing in star wars: knights of the Old republic by naming my character Darth Revan (those who played it will know this is hilarious)) Also do not heed the masamune and masamune blade in my INV. ir the fact that I accidentally skipped that village you were supposed to visit pre-cosmo. email the post-scene save to [email protected].  anyway plz use Tifa in the sequence.

also, an unrelated question, what exactly are love points, saw them in Jenova.

why is this in game tweaking?

It's a bug that needed tweaking.

As he figured out, GYPT was a program decided to tweak the game and it fixed his problem, so...
