And I quote:

"UPDATE: "Regarding the way human vision perceives colors rendered on a digital raster display, 96-bit color depth is a complete non-sequitur. The (average?) human eye is not capable
of distinguishing 96 bits of color depth. This hack only substantially slows down video performance."

Still cool though (not that I have one of those cards...I think...)

Have you ever seriously ran it on 42Bit ? I guess not. I mean between 16 and 32 Bit, there's a visual difference, but 32 and 42? Hm... I guess this count is fine, but not really useful.

The Human eye can distinguish between 96 bit colour and 32 bit ones. However, there are no programs capable of displaying 96 bit colour. 96 bits of colours will make your computer look dark and real life.

The human eye can't pick up the difference after 24 bit.

That's if you have a problem with your eyesight. Normally, if you can read words(Medium sized) from a kilometre away, you can tell the difference. Too bad that I'm gradually losing my bionic eyesight

A kilometer Joey? This makes no sense. I bet I could tell the diffrnece. But I Can hardly read the board across the room with out my glass's. But my vision with in about 20-30 inch's in brilliant. I cant easyly spot jaggies in 1600/1200... theres still some in 1600/1200 with 4x FSAA.
I bet I could spot the diffrnece. I wont risk it though. Nah. 32 bit colourds for textures arent enough though. 32 bit textures in many games still present quite a bit of banding up close ect. I say move onto 64 bit just ffor the heck of it!
