Title: One character only?

I'm just wondering, is it possible to remove everybody from my party in battle's apart from Cloud? I want to try and play the game with one character only.

Not really. The battle party is the same as the field party, and an impossible party (such as no barret for opening sequence in game) will usually just crash it. I think it could be done with some serious modification of scene.bin, but I'm not even sure of that, as I don't know what goes into it.

edit: And shouldn't this be in Game Tweaking?

Why not just keep them dead?
That's what I did in my COODINS game.
Cloud only, one day in no saves.

Heh, it's hell beating some of the bosses with barret only and stuff.

But once you get the Yoshiyuki, the game is over.

It doubles the damage dealt when your party members are "getting some rest".

By on your own do you mean when your other chars have 0 HP?
If so yes.

And you get it from the old man in rocket town.
talk to him 3 times.

Nope, I meant isolated, (Thinking very beginning?)  Or with just two people, one of them dead?  (Thinking JENOVA-ising it at the gas chamber part.)

I believe I read in another thread that what you request is impossible.
