Just a heads up; the site doesn't seem to like referrers other than itself, you might have to copy and paste that URL to new browser window, if you can't get it to work otherwise.

The link itself is working.

And... sorry, no idea about the place. Been ages since I last played FF7. :|

That was used in a scene around when sephy was in the crystal egg-thing. We only saw the *VERY* bottom right hand corner in the game.

You mean the place where you can see the Weapon blink his eye?

It's defiantly not that level.

That looks kinda like in Disc 3, when the player is jumping down to fight the last Jenova. It's hard to recognize because what's visible was a frame of FMV, but there were rocks overlayed over it in actual gameplay, the ones which you jump down on.

This is definatly the level where youre in the mountain that when youre climbing up it you have to exercise for warmth and inside you have to fight the icicles to make them fall so you can jump on them

and the boss if the double headed dragon

hope that was enough explanation  :-P

anyway my thought is that maybe it is a room somewhere in this level

dunno if I'm right though haha

Heh, is that even in the game?

The url says "concept" so I think it was what they had in mind for the game, but didnt put it in. But if I had to put it anywhere it would be where cazador was talkin about, it looks about the same. Pretty cool tho.

I think it's in the ice caves during the "don't freeze" minigame as well.

I vagully remember this being discussed years ago on here...

Wasn't this a concept shot, and while that scene is in the game, they changed it somewhat?

Or that, yeah...

Well its not the Sephiroth scene since that was in an inclosed space while this scene is on a raised platform (notice the edges at the very bottom).

Its not the Dragon fight in Geia's cliff either (not where the save point is - there is a well/spring there, then there was a long passage leading up to the fight).

It isn't the Jenova Death fight because there isn't enough mako colour around (no green tint).

I thought the top half looks like the place in Geia's cliff where you fight the icicles, but the bottom half doesn't match with what would have been in that scene.

In all honesty the scene looks to "chunky" or "blocky" to be from FF7.

It's a concept picture, meaning it's painted, not rendered from a high res 3d model. So while you are right about it not being from the game itself, it's for the wrong reason ;)
