Title: FF music genre?

Hello,

I was wondering what genre is the music in the FF games such as "The one winged angels" (FF7 Ending) and"Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec" (FF8 Intro), as I;ve really become drawn into this music, but I can't tell what it is... Psycho/Gothic/Latin/etc

Can anyone tell me or tell me artists that produce similar music or where I can find similar music to listen and buy as well as the genre please  :-D

The soundtracks I have say the genre is simply "Game".  Amazon is always your friend if you want to purchase game soundtracks.  If you want to listen to user created remixes of many popular video games, check out Overclocked ReMix (http://www.ocremix.org/).

While they are game music, the genre is more akin to classical, particularly in the case of tracks like the mentioned One winged angel and fithos lusec wecos vinosec. They may be made with midi/psf formats, but they're still classical inspired.

New age classical, but it's a mix at times.
