Title: WinXP Final Fantasy VII PC crash (not chocobo races)!

I had installed Final Fantasy VII PC version on my laptop about 8 months ago, and just recently tried to install it on my desktop. When I load the installation disk and click install (after i did all the other little installation) the program crashes, it wont even begin to install at all. I had absolutely no trouble installing the game on my laptop and my parent's computer which also run on the WinXP OS. Please help me, I am very confused. Thank you for your time.

What are you referring to with "the other little installation"?

Mmmm... Maybe a read error from the disc? Have you tried dumping the CD content to a HD folder and installing it from there?
