Title: FFVII cannot read disc

I finally got FFVII PC installed all the patches and set the graphics so it will run on WinXP. Eveytime I try to load the game to play it, it says "Please insert FFVII game disk 1,2, or 3 and try again". I've restarted my computer several times and it still doesn't regester the presents of the disk. Can someone please help me.  Thank you for your time.

If you installed the game from an HD folder as I told you to do, the instalation would have registered that folder as "the cd drive". Click "Start" > "Run..." and then launch Regedit.exe. Locate the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Square Soft, Inc.\Final Fantasy VII; inside of it, there would be a value named "DataDrive" wich willbe pointing to that installation folder. Edit it to change to whatever CD drive you want to use.
