Title: Need Help With FFVIII PC

I bought it on ebay however I noticed some problems. One the graphics are really really glitchy meaning tears and such in the background and another thing I have is when selecting commands and such it acts likes its in Hyperdrive. Below is my CPU specs can someone help me please.

OS: Windows XP SP2
Processor: AMD Athlon XP 3000+ (2.2 Ghz)
Memory: 1024 RAM
Video: Nvidia Geforce FX5200 Series (128MB)
Direct X: Version 9.0c

Did you install any patches?
Like the 1.02 patch?

I gave up on it downloaded 1.2 and such and its still messed up.
