I'm starting a site about Sonic and FF7 (and the Sonic patch of course) and i wanted some opinions on my banner:

Font is hard to read.  Pick a more original font, and maybe cast a shadow behind it, give the text some depth.  Maybe not repeat characters, mix it up a bit.

The Y is cut off. I would have chosen something instead of that frilly blend, but I don't know what... I agree that your text is ugly, but its not hard to read for me. I'm sure you already though of this, but maybe instead of fantasy, use FFVII or something.

If that is the case you are better off putting the older characters in the background and faded and bring the new characters to the front.
