Title: ff7 1.02 patch problem

hey guys, im having a problem with 1.02 patch, my game works fine, so i try to patch it because i want to use the high res patch, after i have patch it, i load my game, im in the world map, the game looks nice, theres no problem except one thing, everytime i go to a town it just turn black, i cant quit the game with alt+f4 or anything the only way is to unplug my pc, i really want to play with high res patch, pls help..

ive tried every solution here but nothing works... :-(

When it hangs, can you get to your Desktop with Alt+Tab or Ctrl+Alt+Del?

i have the exact same problem.i havent tried the alt+tab or ctrl+alt+del thing yet

This will not help us to help you solve your problem.  Let us know all the methods you've tried.  Everyone misses one thing or another at one time.  It would be helpful if you posted some system specs also, as there are sometimes workarounds for hardware issues.
