Title: Seeing only a fourth of the screen

I've had some trouble running FFVII again, on xp now, but after reading the FAQ and installing some patches, it finally works. Problem is, I only see a fourth of the screen, the upper left part. When I change the video settings of the game, it won't run anymore, and changing the video settings of my PC seem to have no effect.
Does someone know why this is, or how it could be fixed? Any help is welcome. Thanks

Wow, that's....odd. What patches do you have on and what are your computers specs?

Ah yes, sorry, I forgot to mention those.
I have a full install, with the 1.02 XP patch, the Chocobo patch and the patch they suggested in the FAQ for when it gives a black screen (I believe they called it the upside down movie patch).
System specs, let's see ... Windows XP Home SP2, 2.93 GHz CPU, 512 MB RAM, and I believe my video card is an Ati Mobility Radeon X600
