Title: im not able to install final fantasy 8 under windows vista

well im not really new here cause i visted this site 10 times but now with the problem

the problem im having is when i run the startup executable the window goes black and if i try to run other executibles off the cd i get this error

setup is unable to find installation languages in e:\setup.lid file
error 105

I had this problem when I had vista. (Switched right back to XP MCE after about a month, mind you).

If you're usiing the patched FF7 Configurator, move the old FF7 Configurator from the game folder if you haven't already. This solved my problem.

Sorry I meant ff8 lol. Change all the ff7's in that post to ff8's and there you have what the post was sposed to be :P
