Title: How to turn music back on?

Hey. I am playing the PC version of ff7 and recently the music has turned off!
I am not sure if pressed some weird button, but the sound effects are all fine and the music volume in config is at max as usual.if i return to previous save games the music is still off, for all areas of the game

is there a music on/off toggle? i can't find any info about it anywhere! i don't wanna play the rest of the game with no music!

In windows load up the sound controls / mixer and make sure that the volume is turned up for everything, especially the wavetable softsynth (midi).
