I had replaced Tifa's field model by hers from KH2 and made a new char.lgp, but before entering the first boss's battle, ff7 crashed  not only the scene but also every one after it, ff7 was still running fine while I had only my Cloud's modding but it crashed whenever I replaced Tifa's parts, dont know why :? I didnt find any things wrong in my work because i did it in the same way to what i have done with Cloud (of course, "Cloud" had worked), so could you check it for me http://www.mediafire.com/?2msgbgmybtt

which kimera did you use? my kimeras just say there's a problem loading the HRC and closes.
-
did you test my file (add: you can see what it should be via Biturn)
i used kimera 083b just to convert battle model file of Tifa to field model file, I had done Cloud 's field in the same way and I dont think it was the reason

I tested the model. The game crashes whenever a scene change occurs (when screen fades in and out).

oh man, bad news ><, what have i done wrong? (my 3-hours working )
I just converted from the 'battle', which has already been successful imported in game, and edited the .rsd files to match the texture, i cant believe one of these steps caused the problem but i couldnt find any reasons else ><
-
Silver_wings, did you fill the holes with Kimera?? This would be the error. Before, i filled the holes with kimera and If i fill a lot of parts, the game soon of after crashes....
-
Aren't battle models a LOT bigger than field models?
-
Are the models scaled right? FF7 will crash if the models are too big.
-
of course, i had to scale the 'battle' to match it with the 'field''s skeleton :-P
and yes, I used kimera to fill the holes (was it really bad)
today i've replaced the files one-by-one and found that the texture was the culprit, I dont know why (because my texture was normally converted from an 8-bit bitmap by PCreator) but I'm making a new texture, hope it works
*edit: none sense, it's still the same
