Title: FF VII Crashes when i open it... Doesn't even start the EIDOS music...

When i start FF VII it gives me error message:

AppName: ff7.exe    AppVer: 0.0.0.0    ModName: tm20dec.ax
ModVer: 1.0.0.1    Offset: 000015fa

Could someone help me plz?

dont expect an answer any time soon.. i got the same prob and asked for help on it in a stickied thread several days ago and and still nothing. but good luck nonetheless

Did you install the upside-down movie patch? Are the files on cd readable?

Yes... Files are read from cd... But i don't think upside-down patch would help 'cause i doesn't even start the video or the sounds...  :|

Got FF VII working...  :-D
Just installed K-Lite Mega Codecs Pack and did as frostx said in his one of his posts:

K-lite codec pack is interfering with truemotion codec.
Uninstall it,
re-install it and during setup choose microsoft default as AVI splitter
After install, in start menu go to k-lite, configuration and open ffshow video decoder. Under codecs tab, scrool down to truemotion1,2 and change it from libravcodec to disable. click on apply then ok
Retry ff7, it should work now
