Title: FF7 Windowed Mode Help needed!!

Ok guys I really need help in getting ff7 to run in a bloody window (id have never thought it would be so hard to do such a simple thing).

Ive updated to the v1.02 patch and tried ff7w, which when i open and run comes up with 'unable to run process', but still i put that cfg file into the ff7 directory but it made fa difference, if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated as it really is pissing me off.

i never coudl get that patch to work either, i think you have to lower your colours and resolution to make it work

Download ff7w and unpack directly to main ff7 folder. try to run from there(i think it's essential to run it where you have ff7.exe).
Be sure to check if firewall won't prevent from launching ff7.exe by ff7w.
Try to run as administrator.

That way I didn't had any problems.

try as kini said. change colors of your desktop to 16b.

The better window patch is the one from ficedula included in the cetra patch (http://www.sylphds.net/f2k3/php/programs.php?category=ff7) (in my opinion) (first program on the page)
I mean that the ff7w one didnt work for me.
