Title: Question about chocobo patch

I've just gotten to the first Chocobo race and my game crashed.  I thought I installed the patch but apparently I didn't so I redownloaded it and patched, but the game crashed again.  I restarted my computer and played through it again and it crashed again.  I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, do I need to completely uninstall and reinstall my game or something?   :?

I'm running on a Dell D620, Win95 mode, 1.02 but without checking the NVIDEA box as that's not my chipset.  Using those settings I've played since the beginning with no problems until now.

Try running as Windows98/ME ?

Not really sure if everything runs fine except the Chocobo races and you have the patch installed.

Thanks... But I just tried that and it still didn't work.  Five times beating Dyne now.   :|
