Title: mako reactor freezing

hey,

i just started playing ff7 on the pc. i've gotten the 1.02 patch and the high resolution patch. the game works ok (the keyboard is a little messed up) until i get into some parts of the bridge of the mako reactor. the game just freezes. i can't even alt+f4 out of it.

i'm using windows xp, with GeForce 5200FX.

any help?

anyone have a solution? or does no one else have this problem?

i've reinstalled, and set the compatability to win 98. i also did the music patch, as well as the official 1.02 patch. still...whenever it gets to the mako reactor, it freezes or crashes. kinda stinks, cause it's at the near beginning of the game.

i had problems with the 1.02 patch so try uninstalling it and play the game without it
