Title: FF7 blank screen

hello ummm i installed ff7 the ultima edition and after installing, played the game, strange as it is all i saw was a blank screen with sounds, no images! cant even access the new game and continue in the interface cuz theres no image, please tell me whats wrong....

What's wrong? You, using Ultima.

Edit: I'd check the FAQ. There might be something about it.

This is a known AVI Splitter issue. Deactivate the one your Codec Pack uses and use the default Windows one.

(BTW, no one included this in the FAQ yet.)

If you are using K-Lite Codec Pack, use the Codec Tweak Tool. There should be an AVI splitter option there.

I have no experience in other codec packs, so don't ask me about those.
