Hi this has probably been asked before, but I'm pretty new to PC gaming. I've kept to the console for the most part.
I recently bought FF7 for the PC and know they make USB compatible adapters for game console controllers, the one in particular I'm looking at getting is an N64/PS2 combination adapter.
Anyways, I'd like to play FF7 with a PS (2) controller. Can anyone tell me how I would set this up or how it works? Some other stuff I'd like to do is use the original N64 to play the goldeneye emulator, but that's another story. :-D
So do I just plug everything up & play or is there more to it than that? Any set-ups or installs I have to do?
Thanks for your help.

If it's a USB adapter, chances are Windows will already have drivers if they are needed. If they are not, it's a simple case of installing them from the accompanying CD, and if you didn't get a cd, getting them of the manufacturers website.

Yeah. Just plug it in and use the default Windows drivers. The rumble feature will not work with them, but stability is way more important.

cheapass price. works perfect. don't need to install their driver. don't need to configure any keys, anywhere. plug and run ff7 and the controller works immediately
