...Yes i know I need your help, quite strange there lol.
Anyway i tried to change the midgar highway into Speed Highway for the Sonic patch. But the game didn't like it for some reason, it crashed when entering the battle. I don't know what the problem is or how to fix it. If it does not work then maybe i will just have to re-texture the original stage. Any ideas what's wrong here?

Did you do any tweaking of the field script? Maybe you accidentally modified a value that the boss battle relied on. Maybe it has something to do with how the battles call which background to use, and it's trying to call for something that got messed with. Those would be my first things to check, at least.

Nope done nothing with the field, it worked with just speed highways sky dome but level geometry doesn't work. I think it may be because the geometry leaves a certain boundary that ff7 can't handle.
