Title: Vmware or Linux?

Hello, I am New to the forum and searched the issue here but dont see a decent answer or even the same problem. I downloaded the FF7 Ultima edition off a torrent site and tried to run it in a Windows XP sp1 Vmware image and FF7config doesnt even open up. it displays no error or anything. So after trying Vmware I tried to just use Wine on Linux the game installed fine and FF7Config runs but after i try and run the game it just does nothing. Has anyone ever tried to do any of the above successfully? btw I dont have a normal windows box or I would just use that of course..

We can't answer your questions cause you use Ultima Edition. Sorry. Rules are rules. :P

ahh, sorry. didnt see that in the rules section at first.. all though it is the first thing :/

If he was trying to be sneaky, he wouldn't have mentioned he had the ultima version. :P haha
