Title: Same Old waterfall, crash

can someone pls pls help me play through the part in the city of the ancients with bugenhagen. Tried everything possible bu still does not work.Been stuck for ages.

I have tried playing movies from my HD. Lowering the resolution and graphics setting.
 Ive even made a new iso of my cd and tried to play it directly but nothing i try works.
 Im really frustrated as now i will never finish this great game.
My friend told me that he google searched and found ths site and he reccmended it to me.
Someone,anyone pls help me with this problem and if there is anything I could do in return dont hesitate to ask.

I don't know what FMV you are having trouble, I'll assume it is wh2e2.avi or white2.avi.
Anyway... one thing you can try to do is make a backup of the original video.. then get some any other video that you know it works, make it a copy from it... and rename it to wh2e2.avi or whatever is the video u r crashing.
Then try to play trought... of course it will play the wrong video as u renamed it... but should get u through that part.
After that you save and undo the renaming thing...  :-P

hmm if its a movie get your own then name it to that movie.
