is there any good FF8 mods? i looking for a mod thats makes it possible to exceed the 9999 hp limit and stuff, just like the YAMP one for FF7.
-
sadly - no, at least i don't know of any. barely anyone bothered with ff8 (which i find strange).
-
FF8 looks quite good even without the mods. No blocky characters to replace, no crappy midis to enhance, and there are (well, one actually - that I know of) attacks which break the 9999 limit.
-
well, we could make a "shorter summons" patch. many people might appreciate that. i play ff8 without summoning gf's at all, because i hate to watch their animations over and over again ;-)

Well, you won't be able to boost them then :P

If you are a really fast tapper (like me), you'll notice a huge difference in damage between 75 boost and 150 boost.

There are a total of 2 attacks that can break the four-digit damage. Cactuar's attack "1000 Needles" and Eden's Attack "Eternal Animation" ...err.. "Eternal Breath". :)
Jumbo Cactuar can do 10000 damage in one attack, but that's 1000 hits of 10 damage each.

i wish i had ff8 pc.

Right, Eden. Jumbo Cactuar's attack shows 10000 as one number, so IMHO it counts as the break-the-9999-limit attack.

Max is 250 and yes there is a difference, like he said, between 75 (Bahamut doing ~ 3400 each hit) and 250 (Bahamut doing 9999 each hit)

i think theres only really graphical enhancements, im not sure but i've heard how the game works is not completely understood

For the love of god why the Necros, does no one notice the big bit of text telling you the thread hasn't been posted in for at least 60 days...
Son, I am disappoint.
