Title: Was FFVII NPC Reconstruction Project v1.0 Ever Released?
Post by: rennervision on 2008-12-12 03:31:56
I was thinking about playing FFVII, but would be willing to wait until v1.0 of the NPC Reconstruction Project is finished.  Was curious if it was ever released or if it is still in development?  All I could find was this thread on v0.6 which mentioned another release was coming soon...

They have since renamed it the Final Fantasy VII Phoenix Rejuvenation Project.

Great!  I was hoping it had been renamed and that's why I couldn't find it.  Thanks!

EDIT:  By the way, has anyone ever gotten this to work with the High Res patch?

Yes you just have to find the install location for the NPC PRP, copy the lgp files, and replace them with the ones in your install directory.  Then you'll be starting up FF7 like normal but with the updated NPCs and any of the patches associated with your .exe, like the Hi-Res and YAMP patches.
