Title: FF8 black screen after "insert disc 1"!

I'm CRAZY here.. tried many things, almost 2 hours here! >_<
The problem is, the game asks for disc 1. Okay, I put it in, and the game just get a black screen... it's like the intr FMV don't run at all.

Tried with daemon tools, too, using regedit... no effect.

Maybe someone can get a fix for this for me? It's driving me crazy.. thanks!

I had this problem as well, I installed the truemotion code 2.0 and it worked great.. heres link http://codec.alshow.co.kr/Page/en/true.htm

yo i have the same problem after i instert disk 1 it goes  black screen without sound just black screen ... how  i fix that? ?  ?

plz answer me : /  i've got vista ultimate x64 bit it works the game but when i put the cd 1 just black screen
