Title: FFVII Fangame

Hello everbody,

I have started doing a FFVII fangame and posted it here for giving me a feedback, ideas, questions & answers, what it should finally look like.

Don't understand me wrong, I just started up for a few days and don't really know how to go on..

There are a few things which I don't want to change because I got a little plan in which direction the game should go:

- FFVII 2d arcade-style fangame
- Players & NPC's look like the world-models of FFVII (like em more..)
- Realistic background graphics like in FFVII..
- You're playing as "Shinra Soldier" with only standart weapons..
- You have missions to complete..
- Different weapons..
- Different gameplays..
- Freeware :-)

You should use the models from the reconstruction project for the sprites. Also, it looks good anyways! I  hope you get to finish it. About the "arcade" style conflicting with missions, maybe you could work in a system of "Level-choosing" for missions and you can only unlock certain ones later on or when a certain one gets completed... I don't know... keep trying though.
