Title: strange FFVII crash atimcenc.dll

Yup I reinstalled FFVII after a changing of pc a couple of times and I got this message even before the eidos and Squaresoft vid

Windows detected an error and FF7 exe must close

AppName: ff7.exe    AppVer: 0.0.0.0    ModName: atimcenc.dll
ModVer: 9.14.0.60829    Offset: 00063054

and marks this error I already have uninstalled the game and tryed many patches and nothing works, even I reinstalled my video driver and reinstalled my codecs package

My computer Specs are:

CPU Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz
ram: 2GB
videocard ATI X1550 series
audio card soudmax hd audio
win xp sp2

so boys help please

Since you reinstalled video drivers, I guess you realize the problem comes from them. Try updating them instead of just reinstalling your current version.

aready updated to the newest version in the amd site  :cry:

For how unhortodox this may sound, try to locate the file and just delete it, it may show you some error when you start up the pc but this won't affect games/applications alltogether.

Well I also tried this by renameng the .dll file and still dies  :cry:
