Hello,
I have an ATI RADEON X1050 Series with 256 MB of video ram, 512MB of Ram and a 1GB pentium III. It has a sound blaster live 5.1 sound card and is running Windows XP. I had the problem with running FF7 in Direct3D mode, when I installed the 1.02 official patch. I could run it in 3D mode however the graphics are very slow and choppy along with some of the audio. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how can I fix it?
Thank you!

have you tried setting its compatibility to windows 95?

Yep, still same problem, I may run msconfig and disable everything and try to run it

Ok, I tried everything, I cleaned my system completely out of spyware, defragged my hard drive, ran msconfig and disabled all but microsoft services. I have FF7.exe running for windows 95 compatibility mode. I'm still having this problem. Can anyone tell me if someone has come across this before? Is there a patch to fix this?
Thanks!

I had this problem if FFVII is running on dual-cure CPUs. Since you're not doing that I can't say why. Sorry, just thought I'd throw that out there.
